COMBINATIONS WITH THE MICE



Please note that the examples below are meant to be just that: examples. They are not in any sense exhaustive. Furthermore,they are constructed of individual meanings I myself use. If you use different keywords than I do your own combined meanings will look quite different. Also, what I did not take into account in these examples is the order of the paired cards (which card is left and which right). Mice-Rider
Loss of drive. Dwindling ardour. Pressure gets less. To yield to pressure. Burglary. To act in regard to something bad; to tackle something bad/corrupt. To get rid of some kind of infestation. Intrusion of something bad, something or someone brings corruption. Virus. Attack from behind. Someone approaches very sneakily; sneaky or dishonest approach.


Mice-Clover
Luck is running out. Dwindling opportunities. Life used to be easy and untroubled, but something has started to corrode that ease. Growing suspicion that things aren't as easy as one thought. To be unhealthily easygoing. To be unbothered by dirt, corruption. To keep one's ability to see the small joys of life even in times of sickness or other unhealthy goings-on.


Mice-Ship
Being fed up with the present situation has made us want to leave, or change things radically. Dwindling of adventurousness. Too little exploratory spirit. Bad (corrupt) research. Unhealthy inability to settle down. To be constantly moving is draining. To spoil a journey. Bad new experience. To spoil someone's readiness to try new things. Lack of adventure, lack of exploration. To depart secretly without telling the people who have a right to know. To leave behind an unhealthy situation. Lies or rumours spread widely. Foreign disease. To look into what is going wrong.


Mice-House
A stealing family member (or one who takes too much without giving back). Something unhealthy or corrupt in the family dynamics. Loss of family sense; family doesn't hold together. All of the above but applied to tradition or rules. Sense of safety is slowly dwindling for a particular reason (which mightn't be consciously known yet). Dirty house; unhealthy living conditions. Pest infestation of one's home. Familiar disease. Diseases which run in the family.


Mice-Tree
Weak immune system (or: it's important now to strengthen one's immune system). Lack of stability; energy is getting less, or getting drained by something or someone. Something persistently unpleasant is making one lose one's calm. Unhealthy body; polluted nature. Actual, physical decay; influenza, infection. Physical exhaustion. The threat of burnout. Stress.


Mice-Clouds
Confusion and insecurity are draining one's energy reserves. Something very evil and harmful is going on in secret. To be unaware of something unwholesome. Scarcity causes despair. The lack of something makes it impossible to decide what to do. To waste resources because one has no plan, no guidance. To be unaware of something which is going on behind one's back. To not know what to do about something unhealthy going on. Very unhealthy, very dishonest. Someone hides their poverty; someone hides their illness. Because we have so little life seems very, very dull. To have no hope at all that things will ever get better.


Mice-Snake
Dwindling motivation. The nagging feeling that there's something wrong with the direction you're headed. A formerly passionate affair is going stale. A craving is waning. Loss of power. Corrupted power. A liar; to spread lies. Someone or something is damaging your career. A very corrupt politician/spiritual leader/teacher/lawyer etc. Manipulation, or coercion.


Mice-Coffin
Nagging suspicion that something is ending. An end which is coming bit by bit (which is either draining, or a chance to say goodbye / to prepare). End of corruption; to put an end to a draining, unhealthy situation. Unhealthy grieving strategies. Inability to live a full life because resources are scarce. To sweep things under the carpet.


Mice-Bouquet
False compliments, someone is kissing ass. False friendliness. Something which used to be nice is slowly being corrupted, getting stale, becoming foul. Lack of social life. A conflict between having very little and wanting to be generous. To ruin something nice. To spoil things for others. An unwholesome concern with aesthetics.


Mice-Scythe
To have a good look at what's going wrong. To discontinue unhealthy habits. Self-caused negativity; to reap negativity. Something or someone is taking away from what one is due. Be careful: theft/corruption/blackmailing is going on! To get rid of corruption/dirt. To clean up, literally. Sudden or painful loss. Something is cut away sneakily, behind one's back. Low efficiency; dwindling efficiency.


Mice-Whip
Bad arguments; dishonest arguments, lies. To run out of arguments. To be lost for words. Exhausting conflict. Rumour, slander; to be stabbed in the back. Poisonous words. Abuse which starts slowly and is hardly noticeable at first. Theft, robbery. Crippling shame/guilt. To atone for evils done. To be ashamed of poverty. To be guilty of doing harm / pollution / destruction. To criticise someone's dishonesty; to demand compensation for what someone took without asking.


Mice-Birds
Nagging doubts. Someone talks behind someone's back. Mean gossip. To think that one is constantly being put at a disadvantage, or that there is always great danger of something being taken away. Paranoia; to constantly suspect that something bad is going on. Worries about scarcity of some kind. Scarcities which lead to worry. To react quickly when something isn't right, or goes bad. To be on alert about bad stuff going on. Unrest is draining. Very quick dwindling. To lose one's agility.


Mice-Child
A child drains one's energies. All of one's resources go to one's child. Lack of playfulness, lack of curiosity. To slowly lose one's playfulness; to have become too serious. To take things which really belong to others without realising that this is wrong. Something is taken away from someone who is too innocent or inexperience to notice. Exploitation. Spoiled innocence. To take someone's innocence. A sick child. Beginning of a disease or of something (not physically!) unhealthy.


Mice-Fox
Unhealthy or inappropriate distrust. To suspect that there is corruption. Something is slowly eating away at one's trust. To take things away from others to provide better for oneself. Slow corruption of someone's integrity. Gradual loss of things that are of tremendous important for one's identity. The belief that one is a bad person. Unwholesome ways of seeing oneself. Someone who secretly follows a very dishonest, harmful agenda.


Mice-Bear
Corrupt leader; someone or something is weakening one's physical or emotional strength, or one's authority. Character assassination. To very slowly let go of a position of authority - maybe too slowly. To fight corruption; to fight off vermin (or a virus). Lack of (physical) strength or assertiveness. To think little of one's own powerfulness; weakening self-doubts. Disingenuous parent/boss/teacher; a very unhealthy relationship with parent/boss/teacher. Sick parent(al) figure.


Mice-Stars
Where there was trust, doubts come in. Slow loss of faith. Corrupt, unhealthy spirituality. The suspicion that one's wishes aren't going to be fulfilled. Something or someone is slowly taking away one's believe that one has the right to reach for the stars. Spiritual poverty; a lack of connection with the rest of the world. Lack of meaning; to lose one's purpose.


Mice-Stork
To find a transition very depleting, exhausting. The yearning to move on from a situation (or relationship) which is unhealthy. Inevitable dwindling; inevitable scarcity. Times of scarcity which are natural. That part of a certain cycle which is "downward", where things are waning. Unhealthy transformation. Someone tries to undermine our transformation, or our attempts to following our true calling. Lack of longing; lack of a sense of what we truly are. Something has become polluted again. Recurring illness or exhaustion (because symptoms are controlled instead of prophylaxis?). Return of vermin. To be faced with dishonesty or malice again and again. Someone or something is deceptive, malicious, unwholesome, by nature. Now you're ill / now something bad is happening you have to go with the flow - you can't stop it anymore, you can only react in productive ways.


Mice-Dog
Lack of loyalty, lack of friendship. A false friend or corrupt employee. Friendship or loyalty is waning. To want approval from or to be devoted to someone (or something) who is NOT a good influence. Dwindling support. To feel exhausted because one is constantly trying to help others. To take away permission. Dwindling docility / obedience. To be envious of a friend. A begrudging friend.


Mice-Tower
Corrupt authority; unhealthy use of power. Someone or something is undermining authority. Loneliness is weighing on one's mind. Reputation is slowly dwindling, or getting bad. To damage someone's reputation. The nagging suspicion that we aren't as wonderful or flawless as we'd like to be. Damage of self-image. Unhealthy pride. Unhealthy aloofness. To take away a top position from someone.


Mice-Garden
Society is corrupt; corrupt parts of media or politics. Unwholesome mainstream opinion, unhealthy culture; corrupt networks. Someone's reputation is destroyed. Dishonest representation. To make public that something is wrong. Conflict between wanting to keep something secret and being open about it. To keep something a secret from the public. To slander someone publicly; to lie to the public.


Mice-Mountain
Something is gnawing away at your ability to resist. To be close to giving up. Something big becomes smaller. To keep quiet about an unhealthy secret, or about something dirty or corrupt. The elephant in the room: a sickness, or, that something is bad and unhealthy - but this fact is ignored. Someone sneakily puts obstacles in your way. Unhealthy silence. Unhealthy inactivity. Weight loss. Big loss. Exhaustive/draining challenges.


Mice-Crossroad
Something is limiting our freedom. Unwholesome freedom. Few alternatives; alternatives are dwindling. Nagging doubts about a decision; inability to make peace with a choice we have made. Someone's choice is taken away from them. To poison someone's decisions/will. Manipulation; coercion. Bad choice; unwholesome paths. Exhausting indecision. To exhaust all options.


Mice-Mice*)
A dirty secret. Very sneaky, extremely disingenuous behaviour. A lie about a secret. A total lack of something. An exhausting dwindling. Scarcity is draining. Bad/destructive rumours. Potentially destructive defect. Very dirty. Someone takes something behind someone's back.


Mice-Heart
Constant doubts whether we're truly loved. To feel too little love, or feel loved too little. Jealousy. To distrust loved ones. Betrayed love. To be an easy victim for being short-changed or used because of being too soft. Dwindling love. Unhealthy romance; unhealthy compassion (pity). Stolen heart. To destroy kind feelings. Secret love - not in a good way. To betray someone's love.
 

Mice-Ring
A promise which was never intended to be kept. A foul or dishonest (maybe criminal?) connection; an unhealthy or harmful relationship or connection. Dwindling commitment; lack of commitment. Fake commitment. Clinging dirt; rumours which stick with us; slander which we can't get rid of. Rumours about a connection. A connection which is becoming weaker. Something pollutes a relationship. Deteriorating cohesion. Unhealthy group cohesion. To have an illness in common; shared dirt (figuratively speaking). Partners in crime.


Mice-Book
Lack of knowledge; to little knowledge. Little or bad education. Lies, misinformation. Corrupt/manipulative presentation of facts. Facts about illness, or pollution. To study illness, pollution, corruption. It's true that there's corruption. To study so hard that it is draining one's energy. To classify something as bad / unhealthy / dirty / corrupt etc.


Mice-Letter
Conversation behind someone's back; blackmailing, blackmail. Communication which is damaging. Lies; misinformation; false testimony. Nagging; complaints. Exhausting conversations. Lack of communication. To communicate dislike. Expressions of disgust. To inform others about corruption / things that go wrong. To tell on someone. Whistle-blowing. Conversations about what is missing.


Mice-Man (a)
Man who is: poor, lost, losing weight, bad, deteriorating, degenerated, secretive, covert, sneaky, crooked, unfrank, disingenuous, unwholesome, unhealthy, sick, infected, corrupt, corrupting, dirty, doing things behind someone's back. Man who is faced with theft, corruption, or exploitation - or one who's the perpetrator. Thief. Man who is exhausted or getting weaker. Man who isn't good for us. To badmouth a man or men in general. To spy on a man; to do something behind a man's back. Energy vampire; man who sucks you dry.


Mice-Woman (a)

Mice-(Sensual)Lily
Sexual attraction (or attractiveness?), passion, or pleasure, is waning. Loss of appetite. Slowness in the sense of "little passion about something" - lack of enthusiasm. More complex: Sensual pleasures is a beautiful thing, but if that's the only thing you share with someone or enjoy about something it might soon lose its depth and become boring. Unhealthy attraction (not necessarily sexual!). STDs. Sneaky types of sexual misconduct like the seduction of minors, or using one's position of power to get sex etc.


Mice-(Virtuous)Lily
Moral corruption in general; bad morals; dwindling virtue. Corrupted virtues, e.g. dishonesty, injustice. Lack of virtue, e.g. lack of discipline, lack of courage etc. Something clean is being sullied. Pollution. One's resolve to stay abstinent wanes; to relapse. Virtue shields one from corruption; meticulous cleanliness (also metaphorically speaking) against dirt.


Mice-Sun
Lack of joy, optimism, or lightness. Dwindling joy, optimism, or lightness. Corruption of something which used to be bright and whole. To gloat; Schadenfreude. Unhealthy focus on only that which is easy, and happy. Tainted happiness; killjoy. Crabber, moaner - to takes someone's joy from them. To enjoy someone's plight.


Mice-Moon
Unhealthy emotions; emotional neglect; lack of emotion. Emotions which have a "nagging" quality: doubts, worries, jealousy. Something is nibbling away at our emotional defences. Exhausting emotionality. To secretly harbour negative emotions. Destructive neediness. Sleep deprivation; bad sleep; nightmares. Bad sleep hygiene. "Fear eats away at the soul". Too little rest. Vague suspicion. Someone obscures something.


Mice-Key
To be too open and thus vulnerable to theft, bullying, or being cheated on etc. No defences against the violation of boundaries. Someone sneaks in secretly; secret intruder. To find out about what's been going on in secret. To understand what has been bothering us. Insight into what is unhealthy. Lack of understanding or inspiration. Dwindling ingenuity; dwindling understanding. Polluted understanding (e.g. by biases). Bad idea. No solution seems possible; loss of hope in salvation. Something increasingly limits our freedom.


Mice-Fish
To lose money or goods, or something else which is valuable to us. Something loses it's value (to us). Less profit. Someone is exploiting us or we are exploiting someone else. To profit from other people's plights. Money which is earned dishonestly. Bribery. A dirty job; exhausting job. Burnout. Lack of money, poverty. Too little of one thing, too much of another. To have a lot but still think it's not enough.


Mice-Anchor
Loss of stability; loss of foothold. Unhealthy status quo. Unhealthy holding on. Holding on is draining. Sneakiness/corruption/rumour is hard to get rid off - it tends to stick. Long-lasting lack of something. To be stuck in poverty. To hold on determinedly to something which is dwindling. To try and keep it together. As advice: "Don't let X be taken away!"


Mice-Cross
Corrupt/unhealthy ideology or worldview; lack of principles, to be negligent with our duties/responsibilities. To slowly lose our convictions. To little by little stop believing that something is really that important. Slow dwindling of dogmatic thinking. Pressure/responsibilities drain us. Exhausting illness. Pain is dwindling! Less suffering.


Mice - Wild Card
Something indeterminable is gnawing at you; a question mark is draining you. Dwindling wonder. The question mark(s) are become less (less pronounced). Someone is doing something bad behind your back, but you don't know who. Someone is putting on a poker face for harmful reasons. A mystery illness. To badmouth the oddball; to do or say things which harm genderqueer or gender-nonconforming people. A (possibly genderqueer) person with the attributes of the Mice (see the Mice's keywords).
